Very Short

Some thought that Brunei was somewhere in the middle-east. It having oil and gas and ruled by a sultan and all it’s definitely forgivable for making such an assumption.

I do agree with some people, Bruneians are really materialistic. So much in fact that it’s baffles me the length they go to in order to get the latest gadgets, branded items, and other stuff. Shops also tapped into this character flaw by providing bank loans to just about anything they can think off. They also love to flaunt their new found wealth.

It’s sad really, that we are reduced to such dumbing behavior. Bowing to the gods of LV, Sony, Apple, Marc Jacobs, Mazda and the like. Is this what we want to be defined as? Are we content with our place in the life? I sure am not. I’m still trying to find my place in this world. What I want to be remembered as. It’s difficult not knowing ones purpose in life - but should we have a purpose? I think so; otherwise living is futile and meaningless.

I like to work with some charity. Or with the UN and UNICEF and work in places like Africa. It’s just something that is always has been on my mind for a very long time. Working for money is fine and dandy, but job satisfaction is more important. And doing something for a worthy cause is definitely is. Anyone willing to join me? I know of one already ;-)

Cheers
